FCW Workshop: Health IT Modernization

In this session, Dr. Tripathi discussed how Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) fulfills a critical 21st Century Cures Act requirement and marks the beginning of a new era of electronic health information exchange in the U.S. by establishing a universal floor of interoperability across the country and creating the baseline legal and technical requirements to enable secure information sharing across different networks nationwide.

Paul Horan, Principal Sales Engineer with Snowflake Public Sector, will recap a key capability from Snowflake that was announced at the recent HIMSS ’22 conference: the availability of the Snowflake Healthcare and Life Sciences Data Cloud.  During this session, Paul provided a brief overview of Snowflake’s data sharing capabilities, and discuss how Federal Health agencies can participate in the HCLS Data Cloud.
