Containers as a Service Overview
Containers as a Service is a new product at DISA's Hosting and Compute Center that was conceived, installed and configured within the hosting environment, and underwent end-to-end functionality testing - all in under 6 months. Learn about how the CaaS minimum viable product provided a DoD customer with secure, on-premise, cloud-based container hosting technology to facilitate application portability across multiple hosting areas.
Mission (not) Impossible
The Department of Defense is modernizing its cybersecurity architecture with zero trust. To accelerate progress, the DOD Zero Trust Reference Architecture offers a simple High-Level Operational Concept (OV-1) that illustrates essential security measures. With a single glance at OV-1, you’ll see: It all begins with Enterprise Identity.
In this engaging session, you’ll learn: What an Enterprise Identity Service is and how it informs the entire zero trust architecture; The essential capabilities of Client & Identity Assurance and how it interacts with the Identity Service; and How Okta provides the modern identity and access services you need to implement and mature your zero trust architecture.

PaaS/SaaS Fit-For-Purpose Cloud for the Enterprise
The DoD Cloud Strategy outlines the need for both General Purpose and Fit-For-Purpose clouds to support mission needs. Today, there are several Fit-For-Purpose cloud providers approved for use by DISA—but not all clouds are created equal. Defense Agencies have enterprise implementations of Fit-For-Purpose clouds to support DoD business mission areas, but what are things they should consider as they evaluate Fit-For-Purpose clouds? What are best practices when implementing these solutions and what is the impact on the mission? In this session, you will learn the advantages of multi-tenant cloud technology, the importance of a mobile-first and customer experience strategy, and implementation best practices.
