Ms. Callie King is Acting Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Chief Data and AI Office (CDAO). She is responsible for standing up the DAF’s first AI Directorate. 

Her responsibilities include coordinating the team to become fully operational, identifying and collaborating with key stakeholders, and supporting the DAF Data Fabric development, while adhering to Responsible AI standards and directives. Ms. King also served as Government Project Manager for a DIU SIBR AI predictive analysis project until the small business was awarded permanent contract status. She has been with the CDAO for three years, moving from contract staff to permanent civilian status and moving into leading Strategic Communications and now AI.

As the Head of Strategic Communications, Ms. King stood up and grew a monthly webinar series called “Innovation Connect” that had over 3,000 attendees in the last year and highlighted innovative, advanced tech projects happening across the Department of Defense. She was also the lead writer and editor for the Annual Report to Congress addressing the DAF efforts in data for the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the House of Representatives.

Before joining the DAF CDAO, Ms. King was a project manager and trainer for CACI, leading a team configuring and implementing a Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) electronic construction management software for Navy Facilities. She has a rich background in project and program management, strategic communications, and technical writing. In addition, Ms. King has two peer-reviewed published health articles.

Ms. King resides in Maryland with her family and two dogs. She graduated with a B.A. in journalism and professional writing from the University of Oklahoma.

Edward Dowgiallo is an Architect at the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Federal Transit Administration’s Office of Information Technology. In this role, he helps DOT business lines create digital transformation strategies and works with technology teams to put guard rails in place for proper delivery of that strategy. Edward joined DOT three years ago from the private sector. In those three years, Edward insourced tools such as JIRA to enable agile delivery, rewrote the FTA’s SDLC to support agile delivery, implemented a DevOps pipeline for low code projects such as Appian, created a governance framework for technology and data, and conducted pilots of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Outside of the Department of Transportation, Edward participates in numerous non-profits that facilitate communication about emerging technology projects in robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, low code, and block chain.

 Stephen Ellis serves as Zoom's Government Solutions Lead, supporting market development and strategy across Zoom's Federal, State, Local and Global government market. He is a recognized public sector thought leader and frequent speaker at events and symposia serving this vertical. Stephen comes to Zoom with a robust career history in the government space, most recently with Dell. He has worked at Deloitte, and as a contractor to the Federal Government, Microsoft, and businesses now part of GDIT, Boeing, and Perspecta.

Enterprise data management professional with 16+ years background in cloud ecosystems, application integration, data governance, data quality, data integration, data privacy, cloud data migrations, metadata and master data management. Jose has worked closely and successfully with all levels of intelligence, military, federal and state and local agencies in support of their data management projects, through any stage they find themselves in of that pursuit.
