What is the Government CIO Summit?

The Government CIO Summit is the premier event focusing on the professional development of public-sector CXOs. Dedicated solely to supporting government executives in managing business operations for results, this semi-annual event offers an exclusive opportunity for government CXOs to explore, challenge and understand the latest trends and issues facing the government executive's expanding role.

How is it Different?
The Government CIO Summit is different from the rest in that it provides an exclusive intimate setting for productive networking between federal, state, and local government CXOs, and presents speakers who are not the usual suspects heard at most government conferences. This is an opportunity to think, to question and to exchange information with others facing the same problems.

Who Attends?
Attendance is by invitation-only to C-level executives representing federal, state, local and international governments plus a small group of top executives from leading information technology companies. All invitations are non-transferable.

What Your Colleagues Have Said About Past CIO Summits
“At the Government CIO Summit you don’t get lost in the crowd. The agendas have always included something I can use back home. There are also opportunities to get to know attendees on a first name basis; Lots of good contacts/friendships are developed. It’s a great group to test out new ideas.”
- Past Government CIO Summit Attendee

“I have been very fortunate to have attended several Summits over the years and the reason I keep going back is the superb topical content relevant to my daily work experience, lessons learned, pitfalls and successes from others, the great environment and time to interact with speakers and peers both formally and informally, and the ideal locations where they are held. Most of all, I have established some lasting professional friendships that I can call on with problems to which I need solutions. “
  - Past CIO Summit Attendee

“I’ve been attending the GCIO Summits for the past four years. They prove to be the most informative summit/conferences that I attend. When I am asked for a recommendation for a government-wide conference by my peers, the GCIO Summit is always my first choice; it has the best lineup of speakers and material I've seen to date. The information is consistently pertinent to me and has given strategies I can implement as soon as I arrive home.”
